RSM LUCA Audit Ecosystem
At RSM, we have been on a UI/UX journey to develop a standardized, user-centered approach to our audit experience and ecosystem. Our goal is to create a scalable template tailored to the audit line of business—one that centralizes the experience for all auditors and eventually be utilized at an enterprise level for other internal LOB ecosystems. By leveraging user input and feedback, we are designing a content-driven structure that meets auditors where they work, streamlines their workflow, and seamlessly connects them within a unified portal.

Goal
Our goal is to create a seamless, user-centered audit experience by developing a structured, intuitive template that supports auditors throughout their workflow. By prioritizing usability and leveraging real-time user feedback, we aimed to centralize key audit processes within a unified portal. This approach helped us ensure that auditors would have easy access to tools, content, and guidance they need—when and where they need it—enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and overall user satisfaction.
Approach
Utilizing user input, feedback and content assessment from 7 different application use cases, in the current audit practice, I was able to to identify how we could take a conceptulaized enterprise design for the Audit practice. Through this concept a solution and design strategy was created, that not only upholds the companies brand standards, but created a consistent experience for our audit users for their entire audit needs. We wanted this ecosystem to feel like it true engagement lifecycle creating a easier space for the user to manange their work throughout the audit lifecycle.
Results
Successful creation of the initial concepts needed for the audit ecosystem. Designs remain consistent with our client and corporate-facing branded designs and Leadership has in return responded in positive ways via feedback in review sessions. In the end, our approach simplifies the auditor journey by utilizing accurate percieve experiences, continuity, branding, and usability.
